Shocking Twist: Cosby Camp Claims Trial Was Rigged!
In yet another shameless bid to cheat justice, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively, sex creep Bill Cosby’s legal team is planning to claim bias by the trial judge — and accuse him of whistling a song from the movie Kill Bill!
Sources close to the disgraced comic’s camp insist multiple people overheard Judge Steven T. O’Neill whistling a tune from the 2003 movie that shares Cosby’s first name.
According to insiders, his attorneys intend to use this audacious allegation in Cosby’s desperate appeal as he fights his conviction for three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and sexually abusing Andrea Constand in 2004.
“They’re ready to do just about anything to get Bill off all charges, even if it means saying the trial was rigged just because a judge whistled something!” a bemused source said.
But a snitch close to the sex monster ranted: “It will corroborate what the legal team has been saying since day one — the deck was stacked against Mr. Cosby!”
While O’Neill was pictured whistling while pacing through the court’s corridors, the only people who’ve come forward to say they heard the “Kill Bill” ditty were Cosby’s allies.
“His lawyers got wind of it on the last day of deliberations when a few people in the audience were talking about it,” a source said.
“I heard it on at least two occasions — once just before court reconvened for the verdict to be read!” claimed another.
A second Cosby fanatic also boasted of hearing O’Neill whistle the iconic melody, titled “The Lonely Shepherd.”
“I was sitting on the bench outside the courtroom, waiting to go back in after lunch when I heard it,” said the pal. “I looked around, and saw it was the judge who was whistling!
“The day before the verdict was read, a few of us approached Cosby’s legal team to inform them.”
But experts said they’ll have little luck using the wacky tactic in court.
“Witnesses would have to testify, and be believed, that the judge was heard whistling the ‘Kill Bill’ tune,” A. Charles Peruto Jr. told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“Next, it would have to be shown that he only did so for this case.
“Then it would have to be proven that he knew what tune he was whistling, and lastly how his rulings were systematically unfair.”
