Bethenny Quitting ‘RHONY’! Star Allegedly ‘Sick’ Of Creating Fake Feuds For Ratings

Two weeks after her on-and-off boyfriend, Dennis Shields, died of a drug overdose inside his home, Bethenny Frankel is making an effort to turn her life around—and that means putting in her two weeks at RHONY!
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the Skinnygirl mogul and reality star has realized there is more to life than just ratings—and she is done wasting her energy on mindless TV feuds.
“Bethenny has spent over a decade fighting and partying on the real housewives. Everything she did was to make herself famous. She even had her wedding televised! But after the death of her boyfriend, she’s telling friends that she’s going to quit the show,” a source close to the star told Straight Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice” podcast.
“She’s sick, absolutely sick of spending hours thinking up things to say to upstage other cast members… And of rehearsing nasty ‘zingers,’” added the insider.
RadarOnline.com readers know Frankel, 47, has been a key part of the show for years, though recently she managed to seclude herself from the rest of the cast—even former BFF Carole Radziwill.
“She doesn’t want to fight and scream and shout anymore,” said the source. Even though those catfights guarantee airtime, “Bethenny is really over the whole process and wants to find real, not ‘reality’ happiness.”

Frankel may have a whole lot of cash, but in the past few months, she’s lost everything from her closest friends to her longtime love. Plus, she is still currently trapped in a nasty custody battle with ex-husband Jason Hoppy!
While sources assured Straight Shuter that the star is truly adamant on making a full life change, show insiders are not so convinced.
“Bethenny will never quit that show. It is all that she has,” said an insider. “Being on TV is like oxygen to Bethenny Frankel.”
