Ariana Grande may want to rethink her plans to marry bad boy fiance Pete Davidson!

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Davidson’s friend, Joseph Gay, 47, was arrested for drug possession while hanging out with the SNL comedian at 4:30 am on August 11 — and the superstar singer has become close to the pal as well.

Now, a source close to Grande, 25, told RadarOnline.com exclusively that her family is "terrified for her safety!”

“Ariana’s family has gone from worried to freaked out after her friend’s arrest,” the insider revealed.

In another incident concerning the family, the singer recently claimed in an interview that Davidson is “always high.”

Now, according to the source, Ariana’s brother Frankie Grande — who just celebrated one year of sobriety — is laying the smack down on his newly engaged baby sister.

“Frankie is upset because Ariana was always on his case about his drug use before he got sober, and she always said he shouldn't even associate with anyone who does drugs," the source explained. "Now she is justifying her man’s drug habits by telling her family, ‘It’s only weed.’"

“Frankie and her mom Joan want her to get away from Pete, but she is telling everyone to mind their own business!"

An arrest reported obtained by RadarOnline.com showed that Gay was pulled over in Fayetteville, New York. He was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Although Davidson was in the car at the time of the arrest, he was not arrested. However, Pete is listed as an “associated person” on the report.
