Abby Lee Miller Gets 'Final' Lumbar Injection In Her Cancer Battle
Is Abby Lee Miller in the home stretch of her cancer treatment? The Dance Moms star shared a video on Instagram on Saturday, August 11 that showed her hospital room.
In the clip, Miller, 51, films all the medical equipment around her and says in the audio, "This is my final —I have to cry—my final lumbar injection and this is the table they're putting me on my stomach, and then my arms are underneath me. I can't move and then they twist it on a diagonal so that your spinal fluid goes down into your spinal cord lower.
"It's a great shade of blue, isn't it? Matches perfectly," she joked to an unseen medical professional.
"Okay, gotta go wish me luck!" Miller said at the end of her video, in which followers can only see her feet on the treatment table.
Miller revealed more information in her video caption, writing, "Sixth and ??hopefully the final Lumbar Injection (spinal tap) in this Chemo treatment!"
Fans responded with love and support, with one writing Miller on Instagram, "You are such a strong woman. You are and have definitely been in my thoughts over the past couple years. Stay positive Ms Abby Lee, great things are heading your way." Another follower told her, "go miss abby! showing cancer who’s boss!"
"KEEP BEING STRONG," yet another fan advised Miller.
As RadarOnline.com has extensively reported, Miller has been battling Burkitt lymphoma -- a rare and fast-growing cancer that affects the lymph nodes--with chemo. Before Miller's shocking fight for life, the reality TV dance teacher served a sentence in Victorville federal prison or not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets.
