Abby Lee Miller’s Prison Tell-All Will Expose ‘Childhood & Current Trauma’

From a prison stint for fraud to a cancer diagnosis, Abby Lee Miller has had a rough year. After the former Dance Moms star revealed she is writing a prison tell all, RadarOnline.com can expose exclusive details on her upcoming book!

“She has said it will be similar to Orange is the New Black, where there was a reporter visiting the prison and getting info to the outside world,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “The working title is ‘Life Behind Barres’ or 'Behind Barres.' It will outline her life in prison.”

The book will also touch on “dark trauma that dates back to her childhood” and “current trauma.”

“From physical to emotional pain, her tell all is slanted to pull at the heartstrings of the readers,” the source said. “Fans still want her.”

Miller, 51, revealed over Instagram that she began her third round of chemotherapy last week. She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma shortly after she was released from prison to a halfway house in April.

“Health wise, she is not better and not worse,” the source said. “It’s a frustrating time for her. Abby is all about rushing through and making shortcuts to get the job done, but with this there is no cutting corners.”

Miller was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets in May 2017.

RadarOnline.com previously reported back in August 2017 that Miller hired a ghostwriter for her new book.

“Abby has been tipping off the writer with info while she’s been in Victorville,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She is telling people that the book will be released as soon as she is out.”

The prison tell all would be Miller’s second book. She released Everything I Learned About Life, I Learned in Dance Class in 2014.

In the memoir, she opened up about her family’s history of cancer. Her father George L. Miller died of esophageal cancer in 2000, while her grandmother passed away from “what they thought to be breast cancer.”
