Abby Lee Miller has started her third round of chemotherapy to battle Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma – and the treatment is leaving the Dance Moms star with horrible side effects. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal a health update on the ALDC owner.
The insider added she is “not doing well.”
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Dance Moms was officially canceled following the 51-year-old’s shocking cancer diagnosis. Despite the cancelation, Miller is determined to continue her work on the small screen.
“She is grasping at any idea of being back on TV, it’s sad,” the insider said. “The production company is trying to cast for season 8, but the network is not open to it. There is so much toxicity around it with the legal and jail stuff.”
Miller was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets in May 2017.
She was diagnosed with cancer shortly after being released from prison to a halfway house.
“They are not sure she is going to recover from or make it at this point,” the insider said. “It is so bad. They are waiting for test results to come back and then they would know more.”
In a horrific setback, she just announced she underwent emergency surgery on June 6.
Another insider said how she is getting her affairs in order.
“Abby Lee’s deciding who gets what in her will,” he source said. “She made a few friends in prison and she’d like to reward them. It’s a very sad, scary time for Abby Lee. She’s never felt so alone.”
“Then when she was released, all of this happened,” the source said. “The show was put on hold temporarily and now has been canceled completely. Dance Moms will never create another episode.”
