‘90 Day Fiancé’ Heartbreak: Nicole’s Baby Daddy ‘Not Involved’ In Daughter’s Life

Nicole Nafziger has encouraged her daughter May to call fiancé Azan Tefou “daddy” since the 4-year-old’s father has been uninvolved. But a source close to the 90 Day Fiancé star insisted exclusively to RadarOnline.com that the family is “upset” over Tefou’s role in May’s life.

“Nicole has tried to make Azan a father figure,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “She makes May call him daddy. That upsets everybody here.”

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Nafziger’s family questioned Tefou’s intentions when his visa got denied. Nafziger then temporarily moved to Morocco with her daughter May to marry Tefou and bring him back to the United States. The wedding was called off when she failed to provide proper documentation.

As for May’s real father, the source explained how Nafgizer, 25, became pregnant with a man from Texas.

“He’s never been involved,” the insider said. “He was here for May’s birth, but that’s the last time anyone has heard from him. The only good thing was May.”

Nafziger’s family has contemplated contacting him regarding Tefou’s involvement, but they believe the baby daddy “wouldn’t care.”

“May is hurting inside,” the source said.

On 90 Day Fiancé: Will Nicole & Azan Say I Do?, the wedding was back on when Nafgizer received the proper documents. But the wedding was called off the second time because they “don’t have enough money.”

“Instead of the wedding, we have decided to try to open up a beauty shop,” Nafziger said on the episode. “A lot of the money I saved up from America is now in the store.”

Nafziger gave Tefou $6,000 to open a beauty store in Morocco, while he only contributed $500 to the company. He explained how only his name is on the rent. When Nafziger’s mom asked to see the store, Tefou refused to show her.

“I am surprised the purchasing of the store takes precedence over the wedding,” Nafziger’s mom said. “That looks suspicious. Maybe this whole store thing is Azan’s get-rich-quick scheme.”

She told her daughter, “Azan is going to be gone with your money!”

Tefou and TLC have not yet responded to RadarOnline.com’s questions about the scam accusations.
