Tori Spelling and husband McDermott are usually attached at the hip, but the actor has been mysteriously absent from his wife's ever-present social media postings in recent weeks, leading some fans to question if the couple has called it quits.

A source told RadarOnline.com McDermott, 51, left the couple's Los Angeles home after the July 4 holiday — and hasn't been seen around the neighborhood since.

Another insider believed the cash-strapped father of six has been pushed to the limit by his troubled wife's emotional breakdown in March, which led to two 911 calls to the house in a week for wellness checks.

"Tori's behavior has sent him to a breaking point," the insider claimed to RadarOnline.com.

A third source close to McDermott said the star has been filming a new project in Canada this month.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the troubled couple has been at each other's throats for months.

"Tori and Dean have been sleeping in separate bedrooms for the past six weeks," a family insider told RadarOnline.com in the spring. "Things have been very bad at home between them."

A source told RadarOnline.com that Spelling, 45, and McDermott were fighting over their serious money woes, parenting a household of five young kids, and the actress' persistent health issues.
