Weeks after Tina Turner’s eldest son Craig Turner took his own life, the iconic singer is finally opening up about the tragedy.

This Friday morning, Tina shared a chilling Twitter photo of herself scattering her late son’s ashes in the ocean.

“My saddest moment as a mother,” she captioned the photo. “On Thursday, July 19, 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Craig, 59, shot himself inside his Studio City, California home on July 3.

He and his famous mother had reportedly been estranged for years, as a neighbor exclusively told RadarOnline.com that Craig had never even mentioned her.

Tina, 78, star lives in Switzerland with much-younger husband Erwin Bach.

Now that Craig’s ashes have been scattered, a new Tina Turner musical is set to include details from his suicide, as well as give an inside look into the “It’s Only Love” singer’s difficult, tragedy-filled life.
