Minnesota Mother & Daughter Dead After 800 Lb. Boulder Falls From Speeding Truck

A Minnesota mother and daughter died this Monday after a 800 Lb. boulder fell from a speeding truck and onto their car, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to a Rosemount Police Department press release, Karen J. Christiansen, 67, and daughter Jena H. Christiansen, 32, suffered blunt head trauma from the heavy rock and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the tragedy, it took four firefighters to remove the massive boulder from the duo’s wrecked 2002 Toyota.

Rosemount Police Chief Mitchell Scott told CBS that the boulder was not secured in the vehicle that was carrying it; if it had been, the fatal accident “could have been prevented.”
Truck driver Joe P. Czeck was arrested on Wednesday after the boulder fell from his car and killed the two women.
