Hall of Fame jockey Victor Espinoza is recovering in hospital after his horse collapsed and died during training.
Bobby Abu Dhabi died while training at Del Mar, California, on Sunday before taking part in a series of races.
The jockey was left lying motionless on the turf after the incident before paramedics ran to his aid.
According to the latest reports he regained consciousness and suffered shoulder injuries.

Popular Bobby Abu Dhabi died after suffering a cardiac arrest while running around the famous track.
The horse placed third at the Belmont Stakes and won several other races during his time on the track.
Mexican born jockey Espinoza, 46, won the Triple Crown back in 2015 on American Pharoah.
