Owner Of Land Where Caylee Anthony’s Body Was Found Reveals ‘Shock’ 10 Years Later

The owner of the land where Caylee Anthony’s body was discovered ten years ago is speaking out for the first time to RadarOnline.com about dealing with the “shock” of her remains lying on his property.

Florida resident Thomas Hendricks has been trying to sell Caylee’s grave site for years. In his first-ever interview, Hendricks revealed to RadarOnline.com that he didn’t even know the murdered tot was missing before her corpse was found on December 11, 2008.

“I don’t watch the news so when the police called I had no knowledge of what they were talking about,” Hendricks recalled of the horrific 2008 discovery.

Hendricks added that police officers were “stupefied” to learn he was unaware of Caylee’s missing status as it had been heavily reported at the time.

When the property owner learned the disturbing details of Casey Anthony’s daughter’s brutal killing, he told RadarOnline.com, “Of course I was shocked.”

Today, the plot of land is on sale for a whopping $40,000, RadarOnline.com reported. Realtors who listed the half-acre plot of land advertise it as a “wooded paradise” despite it being a murder scene.

Hendricks said he has not visited the site in years but it does cross his mind.

“When I think about the property, sometimes I think about the Caylee situation,” Hendricks confessed.

The land owner said he’s still “clueless” as to what really happened there.

He is, however, aware that citizens from all over the country often visit the site and leave gifts – particularly crosses – for the deceased tot.

One eyewitness recently told RadarOnline.com the half-acre plot of land is like a “swamp” that cannot be built on. Hendricks denied that claim, adding it’s property a potential buyer can develop on.

“It’s property that you can build on,” Hendricks told RadarOnline.com. “I’m trying to get rid of the property because I don’t want to build on it.”
