Britney & Dad No-Show At Deposition With Kevin As Child Support Battle Heats Up

Britney Spears and her conservator dad Jamie no-showed at a noticed deposition in Kevin Federline's child support payment increase dispute, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
Earlier this year Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, sent a legal letter to the pop star’s team seeking to revisit child support discussions for the former background dancer and their two young sons, Sean and Jayden.
Britney is reportedly "worried sick" over the recent legal drama and skipped out on the deposition at Kaplan's office last week.
"The deposition was properly served, and there were costs incurred for the preparation of the deposition, which need to be paid for," a source revealed to RadarOnline.com exclusively.
An informant close to Federline added: "Kaplan will be filing a motion to compel the testimony of Spears co-conservators, and possibly Britney."
On the other hand, a pal revealed Britney can't be deposed because she is under a conservatorship, and her financial information "shouldn't be in the public."
"This is for a judge to decide, and it will be left at that," said the source.
When reached for comment, Kaplan told RadarOnline.com exclusively, "It's hard to proceed in good faith with these actions from the other side."
As readers know, Federline currently receives $20,000 a month in child support. The payment was based on Spears’ income at the time of their split.
He's reportedly seeking an increase in child support due to Spears’ growing success in recent years. The star just finished her Las Vegas residency, where she raked in nearly $500K per show.
Then last month, the “Toxic” singer announced a world tour beginning later this year.
The legal letter reportedly did not detail how much Federline is seeking from his ex.
Spears was married to the former professional dancer from 2004-2007. Spears has since moved on and is happily dating hunky boyfriend, Sam Asghari.
