Sweet Justice! Teresa & Joe Giudice’s Bankruptcy Case Dismissed Amid Prison Nightmare
Teresa Giudice finally scored a win in her legal battle that landed her in prison for almost a year!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s bankruptcy case is over as of Friday, June 15, 2018 according to documents exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com.
“Dismissal is in the best interest of the two remaining creditors and Ms. Giudice,” documents filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court District of New Jersey and obtained by RadarOnline.com stated.
Teresa spent 11 months in prison after being convicted of committing fraud and Juicy Joe was scheduled to be released in 2019 from his 41-month sentence.
But they’re not completely out of financial trouble.
“There are only two remaining creditors in this bankruptcy case: the I.R.S. and the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, and the two remaining creditors have payment plans with Ms. Giudice,” the documents obtained by RadarOnline.com stated.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Teresa struggled with money and was worried about how she would pay for her daughters’ college education.
“Teresa is flat broke and she spends all of her money on her cars. She doesn’t know how she’s going to pay for college for the girls,” a source close to the ex-felon, who was once $13 million in debt, told RadarOnline.com.
“She is pretty desperate.”
