The Goldbergs star Jackson Odell was found dead at age 20 at a sober living facility in Los Angeles, California. Now, three days later, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that his sudden passing is still “under investigation” by the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Jackson Odell's body was found on Friday the 8th in the evening at a home in Tarzana, Calif., that is believed to be a sober living facility," Officer Plugge with the West Valley Police Department told Radar.
Though he reportedly overdosed on heroin, "the cause of death is unknown at this time, and it is still under investigation,” the officer continued.
As Radar previously reported, there were no signs of foul play.
The L.A. County Coroner’s report lists the status of the autopsy as “deferred pending additional investigation.”
In addition, Odell’s “manner of death” is currently “not available."
Aside from starring in TV’s hit shows Modern Family and Arrested Development, Odell focused his career on songwriting and wrote the soundtrack of the 2018 film Forever Your Girl which included the hit “Wings of an Angel” by Lauren Alaina.
Arrangements for Odell’s funeral are currently underway.
