Though he reportedly overdosed on heroin, "the cause of death is unknown at this time, and it is still under investigation,” the officer continued.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, there were no signs of foul play.

The L.A. County Coroner’s report lists the status of the autopsy as “deferred pending additional investigation.”

In addition, Odell’s “manner of death” is currently “not available."

Aside from starring in TV’s hit shows Modern Family and Arrested Development, Odell focused his career on songwriting and wrote the soundtrack of the 2018 film Forever Your Girl which included the hit “Wings of an Angel” by Lauren Alaina.
