It looks like all of the recent turmoil over sexual assault and harassment claims in Hollywood has actually helped someone gain a job, as opposed to being axed from one!

RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Giuliana Rancic is rejoining E! as co-host the cable network’s nightly news program, and sources close to Rancic say she's thanking the #MeToo movement for the transition.

“After the #MeToo movement, Giuliana’s racist ‘patchouli oil’ remarks over Zendaya’s dreadlocks seemed trivial,” a close friend of Rancic’s exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “She didn’t write the content for when that took place to begin, with and everyone knew it.”

RadarOnline.com readers will remember that Rancic, 43, left the news show in 2015, after making the controversial remarks about actress Zendaya‘s dreadlocked Oscars hairdo.

Following the fallout, the Fashion Police host was slowly phased out of E!‘s news cycle, and even moved permanently to Chicago with husband Bill months later, to weather the storm.

“Since then she has proven herself to the network as well as her fans,” the source added.

Rancic will replace frenemy Maria Menounous in the anchor chair. She left in the summer of 2017, after making the shocking announcement  that she was suffering from a brain tumor.

Since Menounous stepped down, a rotating series of co-hosts have been on-air, most famously Catt Sadler, who memorably quit the program  once she discovered and revealed the pay disparity between herself and male co-host Jason Kennedy.

In the wake of that and other scandals, suddenly Rancic’s troubles don’t seem so bad.

“Giuliana is being welcomed back with open arms, and as if she has never really left,” the source concluded.
