Bill Clinton Believes He 'Did The Right Thing' In Monica Lewinsky Scandal
Over 20 years after U.S. President Bill Clinton was impeached for having a sexual relationship with his White House intern, the iconic politician admits he has no regrets!
In an interview with NBC, Clinton, 71, was asked if he would have approached the Monica Lewinsky accusations differently if he were president in 2018 "with everything that's going on with the #MeToo movement." To that, the former president responded: "I don't think it would be an issue. Because people would be using the facts instead of the imagined facts. If the facts were the same today, I wouldn't."
Clinton is currently promoting a new book he wrote with author James Patterson, together titled "The President Is Missing."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Clinton was brutally bashed after his 22-year-old intern Monica Lewinsky (now 44) came clean about their extramarital affair. Though he previously denied her allegations, he eventually admitted to the inappropriate relationship and shared a public apology.
Speaking of Lewinsky, Clinton said: "I've never talked to her." He added that he apologized to "everybody in the world," and still doesn't feel like he has to address her individually.
I did say, publicly, on more than one occasion, that I was sorry... The apology was public," explained Clinton.
In his talk, Clinton also confessed that even amid the #MeToo movement, President Donald Trump has not received nearly enough backlash for his sex secrets and alleged affairs.
