More Legal Trouble For Tori! Bank Slaps Spelling With $5k Lawsuit

More legal trouble!

Tori Spelling has been slapped with yet another lawsuit by a bank claiming the cash-strapped star owes thousands.

According to Los Angeles Superior Court documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Citibank, which is acting as a debt buyer, filed a motion to collect $5k from the troubled actress.

READ THE SHOCKING COURT DOCUMENTS

The docs filed on May 4, 2018 allege Spelling, 44, has refused to pay the money she owes. “No part of said sum has been paid, although demand therefor has been made, and there is now due, owing and unpaid from said Defendant, and each of them, to Plaintiff, said amount."

The lawsuit continues: “Within four years last past, Defendant became indebted to Citibank, N.A. on an open book account for money due in the sum of at least $5,078.47.”

“Although demand therefore has been made, Defendant have failed and refused to pay said agreed balance.”

Spelling is under fire with multiple lawsuits pending against her for failing to pay credit card bills and taxes.

Most recently, as RadarOnline.com reported exclusively, Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott, 51, were promoting a business once sued for being involved in a pyramid scheme.

The company is called Nu Skin, which is a multilevel marketing company that sells skin care and nutritional products.

A class action complaint was filed on behalf of purchasers of the businesses publicly traded common stock on January 21, 2014.

The suit claimed the company is dependent on China for a significant amount of its revenue and growth, with sales accounting for one third of the company’s total revenue in the first nine months of 2013.

As readers know, Spelling and McDermott owe nearly $1 million in taxes as of November 2016.

The mother-of-five's financial woes appear to have taken a toll on her. In March, cops were called to Spelling’s Los Angeles home for a “disturbance” after she suffered an alleged nervous breakdown.
