The sad death came almost four years after the then-pregnant woman was severely injured in a 2014 car crash. As RadarOnline.com has learned, Giles gave birth to her son Leighton while still in a coma, and remained paralyzed until 2015, when she opened her eyes.

According to various reports, Giles continued to open her eyes and mumble a few words for three years, but never made a full recovery.
