Ryan Edwards Hasn’t Seen Bentley Since Maci Bookout’s March Protection Order

Ryan Edwards hasn’t seen his son Bentley since March when his baby mama Maci Bookout filed a protection order against him. After the 9-year-old was dropped from the order, the Teen Mom OG star’s father Larry is revealing exclusively to RadarOnline.com if they have reunited.

“Ryan really missed Bentley,” Larry told RadarOnline.com. “He hasn’t seen him, not yet.”

Although Ryan, 30, has yet to visit with his son, Bookout has allowed him to visit Larry and his wife Jen.

“It’s been sporadic, but we have been with Bentley on a couple of weekends,” Larry said. “Ryan has to leave the house at the time. She’s given us the opportunity to see him.”

Ryan has been supportive of the visits, as he doesn’t want his parents to “suffer.”

As readers know, Ryan entered rehab after driving high to his May wedding to wife Mackenzie. He later admitted he was addicted to heroin.

“Ryan is doing fantastic,” Larry said, adding that his son is “very excited” that he will be welcoming a son with his wife in October.

“Ryan is very excited that it’s a boy,” he said. “We wanted a little girl because we don’t have a little girl!’

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Bentley was dropped from Bookout’s protection order. A mutual restraining order was granted for Bookout and her husband Taylor McKinney that orders Edwards to stay away from them.

RadarOnline.com exclusively obtained both protection orders, which were filed on March 23.

In Bookout’s order, she asked to have Bentley and her children Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1, with McKinney protected.

“He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son,” she alleged. “He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don’t answer my phone.”

She claimed that during her son’s baseball game in May 2017, Edwards “showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me.”

She continued, “His behavior and actions are getting worse. I am fearful for my three children and myself, and what he may do, based on his threats.”

In McKinney’s order, he claimed Edwards threatened to show up to his house and “put a bullet in his head” on March 20.

“The police were called and they suggested to seek an order of protection,” he said. “He has also said he would show up at our son’s baseball game and confront us, my wife and I.”

Edwards, 30, was arrested days later on March 27 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation from a past March 2017 possession of heroin arrest.

RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that he failed a scheduled drug test on January 17, 2018. He tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample.

A source told RadarOnline.com, “Ryan got six months probation and five public work days. He has random drug tests in between.”
