Reports that Ray J and Princess Love welcomed their first child on Tuesday, May 22, have apparently been greatly exaggerated.

Despite declarations of “It’s time” and “Can’t believe its happening”, and even a music video welcoming his daughter into the world, there has yet to be official confirmation that Love has actually delivered the child.

A close family insider told OK! that Love is still in labor, and the couple’s baby girl has not yet arrived.

“She has been in labor for over 24 hours,” the source confirmed. “The doctors said she and the baby are doing fine they’re just waiting it out.”

While the insider said the first-time parents are shocked it’s taking this long, “they’re feeling good” and very excited to meet their daughter.

“Nobody expected her labor to go past 24 hours — they expected to walk in and have a baby,” said the source. “But, thankfully everyone is okay.”

The insider also confirmed that cameras are capturing the entire delivery experience.

“All of this is rolling for VH1 for Ray J and Princess’ baby special, airing this summer,” the source dished.

OK! was the first to report that Princess went into labor on Tuesday, May 22.
