‘Ocean’s’ Apart? Costars Can't Come Together To Promote New Movie

Ocean’s 8 is drowning under the weight of its own star power, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively, as the A-list cast — Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Awkwafina and Mindy Kaling — struggles to agree on a schedule to promote the crime caper.

The highly-anticipated movie hits theaters June 8, and the P.R. machine and press junkets need to fire up soon to get the word out. But it seems promoting the pic comes second for many of the cross-over stars.

“Rihanna is busy with her music and lingerie line,” reveals an insider. “But Mindy, who is a new mom, says if she can find the time, everyone else can too.”

Hathaway, who plays the apparent target of the Ocean’s heist, may have a few new “Hatha-haters” in her costars,

“She insists the tour be scheduled around her,” the insider revealed.

Meanwhile, British actress Bonham Carter doesn’t want to have to plug the pic stateside at all.
