Kanye's Mom's Plastic Surgeon Slams Rapper Over New Album Cover: Don't Use My Image!

The doctor who operated on Kanye West‘s mother the day before she died has asked the singer to stop using his image to promote Yeezy’s work, RadarOnline.com can reveal, and instead turn the attention toward the man he claims is really responsible for the death – West’s cousin, Stephan Scoggins, even though Scoggins was previously cleared of causing the death.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, West announced that Dr. Jan Adams face would be the cover of his latest album.
In an open letter to West, obtained by The Blast, Dr. Jan Adams defends himself, and tells the rap superstar that if he really wants to “forgive and stop hating” him, he should “start by dealing with the facts.”
Both Scoggins and Adams were cleared of causing the death of Donda West.
“Perhaps you should put your cousin’s picture on your next album,” Adams writes. “If you want to heal, first call out the people in your own camp who knew better and persisted with the charade in order to hide their own guilt.”
In the letter, Adams details his side of the story, and quotes a coroner’s office report that states that during her recovery from liposuction, tummy tuck and breast reduction surgery, Donda West’s head was not properly elevated.
“Keep in mind, Scoggins was supposed to be caring for your Mom and he was told to elevate the head of her bed 30 degrees,” Adams writes. “Any nurse would know this.”
But Donda’s nurse was absent that day, at a baby shower. Adams says in her absence, Scoggins agreed to take full responsibility for Kanye’s mom.
Adams also shared an official “Complaint” filed by Los Angeles Deputy Coroner Denise Bertone, which stated that, “Ms. West was experiencing symptoms that would have been concerning to a prudent nurse. She was left alone during this time. It is unknown if medical attention could have saved her life; however due to neglect this opportunity was never provided.”
Kanye responded to the letter on Twitter, calling it, “amazing” and thanking Adams for sharing his side.
“Thank you so much for this connection brother. I can't wait to sit with you and start healing.” Kanye tweeted.
