The plastic surgeon at the center of the controversy over Kanye West's new album cover has spoken out.
The rapper recently announced he was placing Jan Adams face on the cover.
West wrote on Twitter: "I want to forgive and stop hating."
This term means a literal metaphor or a symbol meant to represent the ideas and emotions that the artist is trying to express.
So, it would appear that the plastic surgeon understands where West is coming from by using his image.
Donda West, died in 2007 one day after Dr. Adams performed cosmetic surgeries, including breast reduction and liposuction.
The coroner's report ruled she died of "Coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty."
It was reported that Adams lost $500,000 in two malpractice suits after the incident while he also chose to surrender his medical license.
Kanye West went on to suffer a mental breakdown in 2016 that many believe was a direct result of his mom's untimely death.
