Jamie Foxx wants to quit full-time acting to become a primetime TV talk show host – and he’s leaning on new pal Jay Leno to make it happen RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
“This is a major goal of Jamie’s and he’s hoping to learn the trade from an expert,” the source said about the Oscar winner enlisting Leno in his plan.
“He’s been cozying up to Jay in the hope he will help him make this a reality and just filmed a guest spot on his classic cars series.”
Katie Holmes’ secret boyfriend has even bigger Hollywood plans.
“Jamie has radio experience but he’s hoping his new digital series ‘Off Script’ is the perfect stepping stone to get him where he wants to be,” the insider explained.
“He knows he has to work on his skills and has been texting Jay for tips and advice. Jamie sees this as something he’d really enjoy doing over the next ten years, much more so than acting. He’s taking this very seriously.”
