Alex Rodriguez's nephew, Norberto Susini, made headlines when he was kidnapped and held for ransom on April 18 after a deal to sell a $600,000 Lamborghini went south. Now RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the 29-year-old has a long track record of run-ins with the law.

According to the courts, Susini has been arrested on eight separate occasions in the past five years for crimes ranging from grand theft auto to organized fraud.

In January 2013, Susini was charged with a misdemeanor for trespassing, but he eventually was released with a warning. The following year, the minor-league baseball player was charged with organized fraud of up to $20,000 and charged with three felonies for possessing stolen property. He was released on a $7,500 bond and the case was closed in 2015.

However, Susini didn't manage to stay out of trouble.

In April 2015, he was hit with multiple charges: one count of grand theft auto, five charges concerning stolen property, and five counts of organized crime, among others. He was booked and later released on a $5,000 bond. The case was later dismissed.

Susini was arrested yet again in 2016 and 2017 for grand theft and organized fraud between $20,000 to $50,000. He was released on bond.

Incredibly, this year Susini already has been arrested twice for grand theft auto. Following his latest brush with the law, he made bail on April 4 and is due back in court for a May 31 hearing.

As RadarOnline.com reported, just weeks ago A-Rod's so-called nephew was held hostage at New York City's Marriot Marquis. Susini, who told police his line of work involves high-priced cars, reportedly met Lamin Vucetovic, 33, and Anthony Gikes, 30, in Times Square after the two men made a deal to buy a Lamborghin from him.

But the situation took a turn for the worst when Vucetovic allegedly tried to break off the agreement and he drove Susini to the Midtown hotel. There, Vucetovic reportedly demanded Susini return a $30,000 deposit he’d put down before the final sale of the pricey sports car.

When Susini refused, the men called his business partners and demanded a $35,000 ransom and the car. But the partners phoned cops instead, NYPD officials revealed.

Vucetovic and Gilkes were arrested on kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment charges.

While Susino told police he was the famed baseball player's nephew, a spokesperson for A-Rod adamantly denied the relation.

"Susino is the son of Rodriguez's half-brother Joe's late girlfriend," the spokesman said. "This guy is 100-percent not Alex’s relative.”
