MTV star Britni Thornton was arrested for driving under the influence, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The Challenge contestant’s arrest took place in Georgia, her home state, on Saturday, April 14. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report the news.
According to a booking report obtained by RadarOnline.com, the 26-year-old MTV star was pulled over by police at 9:57 p.m. She was charged for driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to maintain lane.
Thornton posted a $1,100 security bond, the report states.
Thornton is currently dating co-star Brad Fiorenza and is reportedly filming the upcoming season of The Challenge: Final Reckoning.
This isn’t the first time a Challenge contestant has been arrested due to alleged alcohol consumption. In 2017, contestant Camila Nakagawa was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, RadarOnline.com reported.
Nakagawa ultimately pled not guilty to the charges. The public intoxication charge was dismissed and she was found guilty of disorderly conduct. She was ordered to pay $100 in fines.
