Howard Stern Snubs Colleague's Cancer-stricken Wife: 'He Hasn't Given A Penny!'
April 9 2018, Updated 10:23 p.m. ET
Howard Stern's colleague of 30 years is in grave financial need following several attempts to pay for his wife's cancer treatment, but a family insider exclusively told RadarOnline.com the radio mogul has not contributed a penny to help save her life!
Scott Salem, 64 — who has worked as an engineer for The Stern Show for over three decades — made a heartfelt plea on social media this week asking people to help donate what they can to his GoFund Me page to support his wife's medical expenses.
"Hi my name is Scott Salem and the purpose of this campaign is to raise funds for my wife Robin, and mother of Matthew, to help her continuing battle against multiple cancers," Scott wrote.
While donations have been flooding from people across the country to assist in Scott's $50,000 goal, Stern was noticeably silent. There was talk the radio mogul may have donated privately, but RadarOnline.com can exclusively confirm that's not true.
"You know what, Howard is Howard. He is a selfish son of a b**ch," blasted the family insider.
"There is no rumor, it's the truth. He has not helped," the insider revealed. "He has given nothing. Howard has known Scott for 31 years — he's aware of the situation."
Scott was hoping Stern would donate even just a little as it would get other people to take notice and donate too, but the insider told RadarOnline.com he "hasn't even mentioned it on his radio show once!"

The Shock Jock will make a whopping $90 million this year off of his Sirius XM radio contract, and his colleague's suffering wife is only asking for $50,000.
However, there may be some hope! Hours following Scott's plea to help his wife Robin get the care that she needs, he is close to reaching his goal of $50,000.
His wife Robin has been battling cancer for five years. She suffers from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and colon cancer and has undergone several surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, while experiencing crippling side effects.
