The health of former First Lady Barbara Bush is failing.
An official statement has been released updating her condition this weekend.
It read: "Following a recent series of hospitalizations ... Mrs. Bush, now age 92, has decided not to seek additional medical treatment and will instead focus on comfort care."
Amazingly, she married former President George H.W. Bush 72 years ago after the pair got wed in 1944.
She recently revealed: "That she's 'still old' and still in love with the man I married 72 years ago."
The couple served as President and First Lady from January 1989 until January 1993.
The couple has five children and 17 grandchildren and the mom and grandmother shared that she is 'proud' that all of her children are working and 'serving others in their own way.'
Family spokesman Jim McGrath announced on Twitter that Bush, 92, made the decision after consulting with her family and friends.
