Rock Bottom! 'Drunk' Andy Dick Reveals He's Headed To Rehab In Bizarre Video
April 20 2018, Updated 11:39 p.m. ET
Andy Dick has apparently hit rock bottom. In a newly released Periscope video, the comedian appeared intoxicated as he admitted he's headed to rehab. RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on the bizarre confession.
The 'drunk' actor posted the live video on Thursday from his home. He was entertained by a classic jukebox installed in his living room, as he randomly clicked on different numbers to kickoff the next song.
The 52-year-old was seen holding a beer mug — which he claimed was only a coke.
But when a fan commented, "He's drunk as f**k," Dick admitted, "Oh I can get more drunk trust me!"
Dick then confessed that he's checking into rehab.
"Oh by the way I have bad news for you," the comic announced. "I'm going to Thailand."
When someone pushed for more information as to why he was heading to Asia, Dick replied: "because they want me to go to rehab."
He added, "I'm allowed to have a little bit a break down."
Dick then became alarmed when a stranger entered the backyard. He then realized it was only the pool man.
Despite a recent restraining order filed, his wife was spotted passing by as Dick referred to her as his "savior."
"I'm on Periscope," an inebriated Dick said. "I got the pool man and my savior. Look I know I'm drunk. Just get used to that part. Just f**ing take a seat, have yourself a drink, and get used it because that's how I am."
A day prior on his podcast show You Don't Know Dick, he was drinking from a similar mug while throwing insults at everyone around him, including his wife.
Fans were commenting that the comic was "getting out of control."
Jeff Henson, Owner of The Gonzo Podcasts Network on which Dick's show airs, said in a statement: "The Gonzo Podcasts Network supports Andy Dick in his recovery and his decision to go to rehab. We have enjoyed having Andy as a part of our network and look forward to his return."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, his wife Lena Sved was granted a five-year restraining order last month. The order came on the heels of another manic episode when Sved said she found Dick "screaming and cursing" while surrounded by broken dishes and glass inside their home.
In addition, on two separate occasions, Sved claimed Dick got into intense arguments with their son, Jacob. One altercation forced Jacob to lock his father out of the house.
A Los Angeles Superior Court official confirmed to RadarOnline.com the order is still in place, putting Dick at risk of being arrested for violating the order.
Dick has had an uphill battle with alcoholism. In 2013, he was sent to rehab after friends staged a dramatic intervention. But he didn't complete the program, leaving almost immediately.
