Don’t believe rumors of rivalry between Alicia Vikander and Angelina Jolie, who has been gushing non-stop about her Tomb Raider successor  to anyone who’ll listen!

And insider revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com: “People assume that Angie is green-eyed over Alicia, but that’s not the case at all. She thinks she’s an incredible actress and has really caught Angie’s eye as someone very special and truly worthy of the role."

Jolie, 42, was happy to give Vikander, 29, her seal of approval, which sources say goes a long way with everyone involved in the project, as well as fans of the franchise.

"Alicia isn’t cocky about taking over as Lara Croft either, and she has the utmost respect for Angelina."

Said the informant: "There’s a lot of mutual admiration here and they would love to get to know each other better.

On the other hand, Jolie's ex Brad Pitt is close friends with Vikander's husband Michael Fassbender,so that could make things awkward, spilled the snitch. "But it hasn’t stopped Angie from pursuing a friendship with her."
