Judge Denies Stormy Daniels' Request To Expedite Donald Trump Lawsuit
Porn star Stormy Daniels is being forced to slow her attack on President Trump after a federal judge in California rejected a request that Trump sit through a deposition by her attorney, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.
As readers know, Daniels, 39, contests her 130 thousand dollar “hush agreement” with the president is null and void, since he never signed off on it personally.
On Wednesday, Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, demanded that Trump submit to a deposition. But Thursday morning, Judge S. James Otero said Avenatti's motion obtained by RadarOnline.com to depose the president was "premature and must be denied" because it was filed before Trump’s team could file their own paperwork in the case.
"While Essential Consultants and Mr. Trump have stated their intention to file a petition to compel arbitration, they have not yet done so," said Otero. "If such a petition were filed, a number of the questions raised in Plaintiff's Motion may be answered in the petition, thus limited the need for discovery on these issues. If such a petition is never filed, Plaintiff's Motion is moot. Accordingly, Plaintiff's Motion is premature and must be denied."
