‘Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond Reveals Sad Truth About Her Distant Marriage
March 16 2018, Published 5:29 p.m. ET
The Pioneer Woman’s Ree Drummond recently traveled to Vail, Colorado with her rancher hubby, Ladd, and their kids. But in a recent blog post about the trip, the TV chef revealed the sad truth that she and Ladd are not always as united as they appear on television.
On her blog, Ree explained the family has regularly traveled to Vail over the years. Although the Food Network star said this month’s trip was “wonderful,” Ree also confessed the shocking truth that family trips aren’t always a priority to Ladd.
“Ladd doesn’t get to go every time since ranch work takes precedence,” Ree admitted.
“So when we’re there together, I savor it,” she continued in the shocking post.
Ree and Ladd have been married since 1996. A few months after the couple tied the knot, Ree watched her own parents’ marriage fall apart after learning her mom, Gerre Smith, was caught having an affair with the family’s pastor!
While Ree’s career is progressing with the recent spring launch of her magazine, The Pioneer Woman, she’s also been busy designing her kitchenware line, available at Walmart.
