'Soaked and Screaming' 'RHONY' Stars' Boat Catches Fire & Nearly Sinks

The women of The Real Housewives of New York are used to stirring the pot with their silly shenanigans, but they encountered some serious real-life drama when the boat they chartered on a recent Colombian getaway caught fire and started to sink!

Page Six reported the reality show's cast was in for some rough-sea adventure after they boarded an old boat they chartered in Cartagena.

"Once they were ushered on board, the boat couldn't even move," a source told the publication. "The anchor got stuck, so the crew had to saw the anchor off before they could sail anywhere."

"When they got out to sea, the engine caught fire." continued the source. "It was a huge blaze and the crew was fighting to put it out. They didn't have a fire extinguisher nor did they speak English."

Worse, the boat, claimed the source, had "only two or three life jackets for everyone on board."

Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley "were soaked and screaming hysterically," revealed the source, who added Carole Radziwill and Tinsley Mortimer "were literally throwing up from seasickness."

"They were far out to sea and they thought they were going down like the Titanic."

Luckily, a passing boat's crew spotted the ladies and was able to rescue the "traumatized" passengers.

"'The Real Housewives of New York City' cast was recently on a boat in South America and encountered turbulent water," Bravo confirmed in a statement. "Thankfully, everyone is fine and was able to continue their vacation as planned. The safety of our cast and crew is paramount and, to that end, we are doing a full investigation."

Page Six reported the network even offered the show's "traumatized" stars counseling to deal with their horrific experience.
