'Home Improvement' Actor Mickey Jones Dies At 76

“That guy” character actor Mickey Jones has died.
The 76-year-old, who was likely best known for appearances in shows like Justified and Home Improvement, died Wednesday after battling a long illness.
Jones appeared in dozens of television shows and movies, notably in a recurring role as Rodney “Hot Rod” Dunham on FX’s Justified. He also recurred on Home Improvement, playing Pete Bilker, a friend of Tim Allen’s lead character.

But Jones was also a talented drummer, and sat in with many legendary musicians, including Bob Dylan, Johnny Rivers and Kenny Rogers.
His last work came on J.K. Simmons’s comedy “Growing Up Fisher” and “Newsreaders,” which starred Kumail Nanjiani.
