Cameron Douglas Talks About His 'Healthy New Life' After Jail - Details
Cameron Douglas has lifted the lid on his 'healthy new life' after prison.
And he has revealed that his famous father Michael Douglas and his superstar mother-in-law Catherine Zeta Jones 'were my rocks'.
Speaking to the Mail On Sunday he has revealed how he has put the past behind him and has a new sober life with a baby daughter by his stunning Brazilian girlfriend.
The 39-year-old claims that his family helped him get through his darkest times.
"My family never gave up on me, not for one second,' he says in his first interview since leaving jail after serving seven years for drugs offences," he revealed.
"Catherine is a scrapper, she's someone who came from Wales and clawed her way up to the very top through sheer talent and determination.
"She never gives up on anything and she didn't quit on me. The love of my family got me through my darkest days."
Born into the 'Douglas Dynasty' Cameron failed to live up to the expectations after suffering constant drug arrests and trips to rehab.
He hit rock bottom in 2010 when he was sentenced to five years in jail for dealing in crystal meth and possessing heroin.
However, his sentence was almost doubled in 2011 when he was found trying to sell prescription-only drugs to other inmates.
Yet today he has turned a corner as he has returned to health and happiness as he turned to working-out to cleanse his body and mind.

His personal life is a lot happier too – the former DJ has found love with his Brazilian girlfriend Vivianne Thibes.
The pair wrote to one another while he was in jail and their romance grew with the couple now having a baby daughter Lua Izzy.
He now has a serene new life living in a rented home in the Hollywood Hills with his new family.
"I know how lucky I am to be sitting here talking to you," he reveals
"When that cell door slammed shut on the first night of my incarceration, I felt like I was in a bad dream, that I would wake up. But the dream carried on and got worse.
"I lived a nightmare for seven years but the love of my family never wavered."
