Drug-addled Artie Lange was back in the hospital over the weekend, and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details on the troubled comedian's latest health crisis.
"I'm in the hospital," the comedian wrote on Twitter on Super Bowl Sunday. "Just got hold of a phone. Congrats Philly. The 2 best Cities for me could be Boston & Philadelphia. Pats got a bunch a rings. The loyal ppl in Brotherly Love Town. Enjoy. Don't f**kin Kill anybody. Plus only 7 minutes til Crashing!"
On the heels of his cryptic tweet, fans suspected drug withdrawals was the cause of his latest hospital stint, but sources close to the 50-year-old tell RadarOnline.com Lange was sick with the flu and is doing better now.
It's been a hard few months for the boozehound. In July, the Stern Show alum was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.
"All the blow and heroin I've done for years blew hole in my nose and landed in my chest," Lange tweeted.
Two months later — in October — Lange suffered a blood sugar problem that required emergency hospitalization.
He was arrested in December after failing to show up to court for a prior drug-related charge.
Lange is due back in court February 23.
