Vienna's Miscarriage Misery: Girardi Can 'Hardly Get Out Of Bed' On Tragic Due Date
Jan. 10 2018, Updated 7:48 p.m. ET
Former Bachelor contestant Vienna Girardi tragically lost her twins in August and the 31-year-old felt "empty" on what would have been her unborn babies due date on January 10, 2017.
Girardi explained her misery in a painful message on her Facebook Wednesday.
"Today should have been a day to rejoice and celebrate life... today was my due date. Instead I’m finding it hard to even get out of bed, hard to smile or feel anything at all. I feel numb as I stand outside watching my dogs; it’s wet and gloomy as if the world knows and feels my pain. Each day has gotten easier to for me to put a smile on and pretend everything is ok but not today. I can’t pretend today. I’m hurting, I’m sad and I feel empty. I still wondering why and I still get angry and today I’m mad and sad and just want it to be ok to feel this way."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the TV personality posted to Facebook over the summer, letting her followers know that her daughters “went to Heaven on Aug 5th” at 18 weeks after experiencing twins to-twin transfusion syndrome.
Girardi was most recently romantically linked to NASCAR driver Todd Allen, who she was dating for three years prior to their engagement last August.
She became a reality star in early 2010 as a contestant on the 14th season of The Bachelor, vying for Jake Pavelka‘s heart.

The romance was short-lived, however, as the pair parted ways just moths after the show, later clashing in a dramatic special for the show the following month.
