Members of the S.W.A.T Team assisted in the arrest of Disney star Adam Hicks for allegedly robbing four victims at gunpoint, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
Hicks was taken into custody on January 24, RadarOnline.com reported.
According to a news release provided by the Burbank Police Department, 25-year-old Hicks and Danni Tamburo, a 23-year-old female, were located inside of a home on North Niagara Street in Burbank.
Hicks allegedly acted in a string of armed robberies that began at 5:15 a.m. on January 24, according to the release. The first victim is described as a 52-year-old man.
“He was approached by a male armed with a handgun,” the release states. “The suspect pointed the handgun at the victim and demanded his wallet. Fearing for his life, the victim ran away and was able to escape to safety.”
As police were investigating the first robbery, the document states an additional three street robberies occurred “within minutes of each other.”
“The victims all provided similar descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle,” the news release states.
Officers located the car and found property “belonging to one of the robbery victims” and additional stolen property was found in a nearby area.
At 1:15 p.m. Burbank Police Detectives were led to a home believed to be linked to the suspects, where the S.W.A.T. team responded for backup.
“Due to the nature of the crimes, members of the Burbank Police Department S.W.A.T. Team assisted in serving a search warrant on the residence,” the news release states. “Additional stolen property was found inside the residence during service of the search warrant.”
The document confirms no injuries were reported as a result of the crimes.
Hicks and Tamburo were detained at the home and taken into custody.
A jailer at the Burbank County Jail exclusively confirmed to RadarOnline.com that the Zeke and Luther star was transported to LA County jail early Thursday morning.
Both suspects are being held on a $350,000 bail and are due in court Friday.
