Rock Tragedy: Icon Tom Petty Fighting For Life

Tom Petty is fighting for his life, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
The Los Angeles Fire Department told RadarOnline.com they received a call to Petty's Malibu home at 10:45 PM Sunday night, and were dispatched at 10:52. Malibu Police reveal to RadarOnline.com the 66-year-old rocker was found unconscious, and went into cardiac arrest — but they were able to gain a pulse.
Cops also confirm to RadarOnline.com that Petty was then "transported to Santa Monica hospital with an unknown condition.”

According to reports, when he arrived to the hospital he had no brain activity and a decision was made to pull life support.
Though CBS initially reported that Petty had died, the news outlet has since retracted their confirmation from the LAPD.
