Laurie Phan, a contestant in ATV Miss Asia Toronto in 2013, has turned herself in to police in connection with the death of Noel Williams, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to reports, the 22-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder.
Local authorities found Williams, 27, on February 10, 2017, with gunshot wounds at a residence in the area of McCowan Rd. and Bur Oak Ave. in Markham, Ontario. Police reported that the suspect or suspects had fled the scene in a vehicle.
Williams was rushed to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
On her social media profiles, Phan, an aspiring model, dubbed herself a "very motivated and determined person" who is "interested in fashion, glamour, hair/makeup, promotional modeling, runway, fit modeling and swimwear shoots!"
But Phan isn't the only suspect in the case. Jasper Atienza, 28, was previously charged with first-degree murder on April 19.
