Caught Red-Handed! Sofia Vergara Ditches Wedding Ring
May 4 2017, Published 8:33 p.m. ET
Sofia Vergara can’t deny it any more! The Modern Family actress has been scrambling to shut down reports that her marriage to Joe Manganiello is in trouble, but RadarOnline.com has the photo proof that she ditched her wedding ring.
Vergara, 44, posted a nasty rant on her Instagram page earlier this week claiming that Star magazine's new cover story featuring her missing ring was photoshopped.
But although Vergara claimed that Star removed her wedding ring from a photograph that was taken during "that award night in Rome,” the photograph in which Vergara is pictured without her wedding band was actually taken in Los Angeles on April 15, AFTER she returned from Italy. That image appears on page 34 of the magazine currently on newsstands, and above.
Vergara WAS wearing the giant engagement ring that Manganiello gave her back in December 2014 as she partied solo in Italy. But missing was her equally stunning wedding band – despite the fact that she proudly wore it in the weeks after their 2015 wedding, and even donned it for the Super Bowl back in January:
