Alan Thicke was alive when the desperate 9-1-1 call was made on Tuesday from an ice skating rink, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The beloved 'Growing Pains' dad collapsed at the Pickwick Ice Rink around noon and paramedics rushed to the scene.

Burbank Fire Department Battalion Chief Ron Barone told RadarOnline.com that the actor was alive when the EMTs arrived.

"I can confirm our paramedics responded to the Pickwick Ice Rink in Burbank around noon today."

Chief Barone told RadarOnline.com the Burbank Fire Department paramedics "transported a male to the St. Joseph's hospital."

Thicke was reportedly with his son Carter and his other son Robin Thicke rushed to his side.

The 9-1-1 phone call made from the rink will be released as soon as authorities have reviewed the contents.
