A nude scandal could destroy Meghan Markle‘s fairytale ending with Prince Harry, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned!

The actress was caught red-faced and underdressed when her clothes were stolen while she was taking a shower at a campground, forcing Markle to run after the culprit naked!!

"I was at a campground when this teenage boy thought it'd be funny to steal my clothes while I was taking a shower," she recalled.

"I had to chase after him practically naked. It occurred to me that if Suits ever ended up playing there, he'd have a pretty embarrassing story to tell."

And IF that culprit had had a camera, then there COULD be nude photos of Markle on the market! But luckily, none have surfaced so far.

With Prince Harry having a nude photo scandal of his own while in Las Vegas, Markle believes Buckingham Palace will “definitely want Harry to shy away from any nude photo scandal, too," sources say.

Although Kate Middleton was at the center of her own nude photo scandal in 2012, it didn’t destroy her marriage to Prince William because they were already married.

“They’re still at a delicate stage. Harry’s people won’t want the same controversy at this stage in the relationship, even if Harry will stick by her no matter what. The pressure on him to ditch her will be intense and she’s worried about it.”

Despite the scandal, Markle may return to New Zealand with her new boyfriend!

“There’s no doubt she loved New Zealand though and Harry does, too, because it’s very outdoorsy,” the insider said.

“It would be the perfect getaway for them and the best place they could head to if the scandal breaks. They would be miles from anywhere out in the country and would have a wonderful, romantic time. There’s a buzz in New Zealand right now that they will be back sooner rather than later.”

But the scandal could be the least of Markle’s worries, as her family is being “torn apart” by the new romance!

Markle’s father Thomas, 72, is worried about the attention his daughter is receiving, while her sister Samantha Grant, 51, called her a “social climber” in the British press.

“The pressure on the family now that Harry has confirmed this relationship is intense,” Grant told a friend.

“There have been arguments. We’re being torn apart. Our dad is really worried about Meghan and all the attention. He hates what has been said about Meghan’s mom, too. Meghan’s mom Doria Ragland is not from a gang area of LA like has been claimed. That could not be further from the truth. Her dad’s not broke either. He’s a proud, private man who wants what’s best for her.”
