The world was stunned when Donald Trump pulled off an election upset on Tuesday night, but has learned that behind the scenes, GOP leaders had been running a secret ground game that all but ensured his victory!

Bombshell internal RNC documents obtained by Radar reveal how RNC Chair Reince Priebus and Chief Strategist and Communications Director Sean Spicer orchestrated the most impressive get out the vote effort in Republican history, and delivered crucial wins for Trump in key battleground states.

Back in 2012, the documents reveal, there was a field operation of just 876 people running Mitt Romney's campaign at the state level. By contrast, Team Trump had an overwhelming 6,012 staffers!

Looking at the difference state by state, it's clear that the Republican machine put all of their muscle behind Trump, powering him all the way to the White House.

In Florida, for example, Trump had 933 staffers, compared to only 84 during the Romney campaign. Winning that state was a decisive moment for the President-Elect on election night.

North Carolina, another key win for the Trump campaign, also saw a huge influx of RNC support on the ground. The documents obtained by Radar show that there were 778 Trump and RNC staffers in the Tar Heel State running up to the election, compared to just 61 when Romney was on the ballot.

In addition, the documents show how Priebus and Spicer's camp plotted an incredibly detailed get-out-the-vote strategy.

In the months leading up to the election, the RNC scheduled a point-by-point and day-by-day strategy to get typical Florida voters to the polls, and to vote for Trump.
