Not So Fast! Abby Lee Miller Fraud Case: Judge Responds To Sentence Delay Request

Abby Lee Miller scored a win in her fraud case when the court requested to push back her sentencing to January 20, 2017, but did the judge approve the order? RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal more details on the bombshell ruling in the Dance Moms star's case.

"Upon consideration of the Consent Motion to Continue Sentencing, it is hereby ordered that the motion is granted," court papers obtained by RadarOnline.com read of Judge Joy Flowers Conti's decision. "Sentencing is set for Friday, January 20, 2017, at 10 a.m."

The court requested to delay sentencing because of a "scheduling conflict," as the government counsel was "unavailable on that date," Deadline reported.

This is one of the many breaks Miller, 50, has received. She was initially scheduled to be sentenced on October 22, 2016, but her sentencing was later postponed an additional 45 days before the most recent delay was granted.

In June, the dance teacher pled guilty to one count of not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets.

She faces up to 30 months in prison.

Prosecutors initially requested she spend five years in prison and pay $5 million in fines when she was charged with 20 counts of fraud in October 2015.

Miller may be using her additional months of freedom to vacation, as she asked the court permission to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, Tijuana, Mexico and more locations over the summer.
