Tamra Praises Vicki's 'Nice' Boyfriend Despite Past Battery & Assault Charges

Vicki Gunvalson's new man made his Real Housewives of Orange County debut on this week's episode, but he isn't as good of a guy as her co-stars think!
During the episode, Tamra Judge praised Steve Lodge for being a "nice guy."
"I already checked him out, at least he's not running from the cops," she told Gunvalson and Lodge. "You did check out clean!"
She then said in her confessional, "This guy doesn't have a mug shot. He is actually on the other side of the fence. Steve seems like a really nice guy."
But as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Lodge does have a criminal record! The retired cop was accused of assault and battery twice while working on the police force.
In 1991, alleged victim John Ellis accused the former officer, who worked for the Santa Ana Police Department, of assault and battery before the case was transferred to the Municipal Court. The documents were eventually destroyed because of the age of the case.
A second man, Araceli Orozco, accused Lodge of the same crime in 1997. The alleged victim requested the case be dismissed with prejudice in 1998.
Lodge was also hit with a restraining order on September 28, 2012 after a physical fight at a hotel.
"Mr. Lodge appeared at a hotel I was staying and checked in at the same hotel," Michael Thomas, who admitted to sleeping with Lodge's then-wife in the documents, wrote. "He called my room from the lobby twice and attempted to identify my room number. Mr. Lodge assaulted me, including but not limited to punching me in the face multiple times."

Thomas claimed to have suffered from a black eye, bruising and other injuries to his face.
"Mr. Lodge is a volatile individual who has assaulted me," he wrote. "He has also stalked me on multiple occasions. I am worried that he may retaliate, stalk or assault me in between the hearing and the time I can get him served."
The restraining order against Lodge was granted.
This isn't the first time Gunvalson has had a bad boyfriend. Her ex Brooks Ayers claimed to have cancer despite her co-stars accusing him of lying about the illness.
