As RadarOnline.com readers know, Kim Kardashian's best friend Larsa Pippen was recently delivered a vicious divorce filing from husband of 19 years, basketball legend Scottie Pippen.

But now, a rep for the star revealed the couple could still reconcile, insisting the breakup occurred after a fight over Scottie's hopes to land an ESPN gig in Chicago.

"The tension between Scottie and Larsa started months ago," Larsa's rep said. "I'm fairly certain they're going to make up. He's sending her messages. They're communicating. I don't think they're going to pull the trigger. He was saying, 'I miss you. Let's talk.' She's feeling the same way. When it rains, it pours, but Scottie's at a different place. She's at a different place, and they're just figuring it out."

But based on Scottie's nasty court filing, there's no love lost just yet.

According to Broward County Circuit Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the 51-year-old demanded "ultimate responsibility" of the former couple's four minor children — Scottie Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia — and announced he will file a Petition for Relocation on behalf of the children, and plans to whisk them away to Chicago with him.

In another epic diss, multi-millionaire Scottie begged the court not to demand he pay alimony to his former reality star wife, 42. He also requested the right to "amend" their prenuptial agreement.

Perhaps fueling the fire, Larsa was rumored to have cheated with rapper Future, who once dated Rob Kardashian's fiancée, Blac Chyna.

But for now, Scottie and Larsa have been "texting nonstop," says her rep, adding, "She's like, 'Is this really how it's going to end? We've been through so much together.' She was a little bit caught off guard by his divorce filing."
