Drew Barrymore’s divorce was finalized earlier this summer, but is her ex's family still harboring bad blood?
Jill Kargman released her book, Sprinkle Glitter on My Grave, and revealed the truth behind her brother Will Kopelman’s split from Barrymore, 41.
"I wrote the book before they had separated and I wanted it to feel like not dinosaur where people are opening the book and dust is flying out,” Kargman, 42, explained to The Daily Dish.
“So I wanted to address it and just let everyone know that everyone is fine," she said. "My brother is an incredible person and such a good father and such a devoted uncle.”
“She is a delightful happy mirror to our familial morose dark side, and the perfect yin-yang of California sunny outlooks versus our wintry dark humor,” she first described in the book.
“Even though she and Willie went splitsville just as this book was going to print, we are forever sisters,” she later added. "Bottom line: She is a Technicolor flower child bouquet of a person, and a welcome kaleidoscope of hues that infused our Addams Family with optimism and light,” she added.

Kargman and Barrymore have remained friends behind her brother’s back, and Barrymore even appeared on Odd Mom Out.
"She's my sister-in-law and even though they're splitting up, she's always my sister," Kargman told E! at the time.
